The breakfast stop was at a gas station but they did have good ham and cheese empanada. The Cotopaxi climb is challenging due to elevation but worth it. Bring your passport to get a stamp in the lodge. The Lagoon tour wasn't very detailed, but that could be because we were tired from the climb. The lunch tasted OK but the staff wasn't great. We pre-ordered our food but the staff didn't acknowledge our group when we arrived. And didn't say anything to us as they set food in front of us. Wouldn't go back.

A good experience, although not quite warranting five stars. The guides were informative and chatty and did what they could to make the trip interesting. Didn't get a clear view of the summit, but that of course was beyond anyone's control. But in essence it's a drive to a parking lot and a hike up a cinder slope to a lodge, with quite a number of other people.

Fun, exciting, strenuous day led by Daniel together with Paulina and Irene (the local guides at Cotopaxi) and Ivan (driver, omg, how did he manage on some of the roads!). Well organized, informative, exciting, memories for a lifetime. Food good, bus very nice, friendly and supportive (dang, that walk up..) Thank you!!
