The start at the meeting point is a bit hectic but sit down with a coffee from the small cafe until your guide comes to introduce themselves. Our guide Dario was simply amazing. He was funny, knowledgeable and charming. He made sure we had all the important facts and so much more. It’s a long tour and a long, long walk so wear very comfy shoes because your feet will be aching! Paying that bit extra for early entry is definitely the right thing to do. The queues are enormous and start at least 2 hours before opening. Also if you are late in, there are many more people trying to see the same things so you don’t get a good view. With early entry, there were several other groups but it never felt packed. The only time it was apparent how busy it was, was right at the end when we were finishing the tour. The overall feeling was that this tour gave us everything we needed and was a full Vatican experience. This company/tour is highly recommended and if you get Dario, it’s a bonus!

Barbara guided us around in what was a larger group than we anticipated, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot recommend this guided tour enough

Very well organized tour. Claudia was an engaging, confident, and informative guide, keeping us moving through the increasingly busy museums.

The meet up was smooth. Our guide was a delight. We chose the early entry and avoided the crowds. I enjoyed it.

Really good choice, not too crowded in the early hours. Our guide was really passionate about the paintings.
