I had a wonderful time on this activity, especially as a young Solo traveller. the skipper and lovely blonde lady attending us were great, telling engaging and entertaining stories about everything we were passing. The lady made sure our drinks were always full as we as offering to take pictures for everyone, making it well worth the extra cost for the wine and cheese (which was also delicious with plenty to go round). Thoroughly recommend to anyone doing a short tour of Amsterdam, and interested in the architecture, geography and history of the city's canals.

This is a great way to get a individualized tour of the city & canals. We only had 10 people on our boat so we were able to chat with the guide & boat driver easily. The drinks are good and bottomless, the cheese is only one small platter per group. I really enjoyed this tour & it's one of the best things I did because it was such a great way to see the canals.

Such a great experience! Just the right length (an hour), delicious cheese and wine (soft drinks also available). Theo and Lot were fantastic hosts, very friendly and engaging. Lot gave a great tour with some very interesting facts and was very knowledgeable. Our entire party found it fascinating ages ranging from 15 to 55. Excellent price. Boat was a beautiful old wooden one built in 1913 and only takes around 20 tourists which make it much more intimate than the huge floating ‘refectory style’ glass top boats. Highly recommend!!
