What people are saying about Reykjanes Peninsula
Great tour. Would recommend even I think we could do it on our own as we had car. But we really enjoyed. The hike could be longer as it was only 2 hours all together not 4 as advertised. The driver and tour guide were friendly and even we stuck in the snow they had to put big effort to get the bus back on the road. They keep us safe and comfortable. Well done. Over all great communication and organisation.
The guided walk into the lava fields was spectacular in every sense. The guide was informative and helpful during the walk and bus trip. Our experience included a stay at the blue lagoon, which was a perfect end to the day. Highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to get out of the city and explore southern part of Iceland.
Truly amazing excursion! 12 km (round trip) to reach the main crater. A "lunar" scenario that is worth the effort. The guide Agnes is fantastic, prepared and always ready to give you energy. The added value of the excursion.
The hike was exhilarating and the guide was great: he clearly enjoys his work! The deep, fresh snow made everything beautiful. My family found the Blue Lagoon to be the perfect way to rest after so much exercise in the cold and wind.
Great hike, recommend you seriously follow the instructions provided by the organizer. Saw a few folks not dressed properly and that adds to a negative experience. Bring cleats if you have them as it will help, but not neccessary.
