You really have to know how fit you are on this tour. But the efforts are worth it. And you should definitely take a rain jacket with you, we were lucky on the ascent but it was drizzling on the descent.

We had Tom as our guide and he was great! Easy going, encouraging and very knowledgeable about the volcano and surrounding landscapes.
