Full description

Experience some of the largest glaciers of Iceland, and see the waterfalls of Skógafoss and Seljalandson on a day trip from Reykjavik. After a pickup from the city, witness the alluring natural beauty of the cascading waterfalls and embark on a guided hike with all necessary glacier equipment.

Journey to Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you get the chance to walk behind the 60-meter fall. There will definitely be a drizzle behind the breathtaking waterfall, so put on your rain gear and get your cameras ready.

Continue the adventure at Skógarfoss waterfall, a 60-meter drop from what used to be the coastline. You can enjoy the beautiful view from above after running up the 527 steps leading to the top.

Skógarfoss was a filming location for the Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Thor: The Dark World as well as several music videos. On the iconic black sand beach, discover magnificent basalt columns as well as the rock pillars named Reynisdrangar.

Be sure to watch out for the unpredictable sneaker waves while enjoying the magical view of the beach and Dyrhólaey cliffs in the distance. Between June and August, you can enjoy the company of hundreds of puffins that like to nest in the columns.

Finally, get geared up with the necessary safety equipment to hike up one of Iceland's most scenic glaciers on the South Coast, where you can see the fast-melting ice formations and learn about the area’s ancient geology and environmental importance.

Just AMAZING. Our guide, named Gylfi, was very nice and fun. He drove us around and guide us successfully for the glacier hike. He explained us all the safety measures and how to enjoy it safely! He was very kind with the people that needed help on the glacier. Absolutely recommended 💯

The absolute highlight of my trip. Best day trip I did (I did 7). Excellent value, kind, conscientious, and knowledgeable guide (Axel). Perfect amount of time at each location. Waterfalls and black sand beach are gorgeous. Glacier hike was the cherry on top - once in a lifetime experience, trusty guides, beautiful scenes, not a hard hike - suitable for all levels. The van is smooth drive, comfortable, has WiFi and charging ports. A long(er) day but worth it. Was solo travelling and met great people on the trip too. Perfect for solo or groups. I recommended it to many who enjoyed it as the highlight of their trip too.

Pick up and drop off was easy. The minibus was spacious and the driver was great, got us to our destinations in no time. He had great knowledge of the spots along the way which I enjoyed learning about. The glacier hike I did was also amazing! The guides there reassured you all the way about the safety and they were also very knowledgeable as well. You got fitted in all your gear and made sure everyone felt comfortable walking on ice. The landscape is ever changing and I’m glad I got to go now when it’s still here. Great views from up top. The weather was great when I went.
