My highlight of Iceland was getting the chance to snowmobile. I never drove one before and our guide Javi was very Thorough on directions which made me feel tons better! He drove at a comfortable speed and let us take lots of photos. The guided tour of the south coast was just as amazing our host provided so much information on Iceland. You will see plenty of waterfalls and if you booked the snowmobile tour instead of going to the black sand beach you will take your snowmobile ride you do miss lunch so pack a lunch with you! All the time meetups and details are worked out through the host and guides so you don’t need to stress. Definitely recommend doing if you visit Iceland!
It was nice to see puffins. They were quite beautiful. There was some issue with the boat and they took us to a different dock to board the boat. One of the reasons I booked this tour was the extra 30 min allocated in this tour compared to the other ones which seemed to last 1 hour. The extra 30 min was however not there due to issue with the boat. As such the crew was awesome and tour guide even took professional photographs of Puffins and shared them on request. It is extremely difficult to capture them as they are so small and move fast. You need a professional camera to take a nice picture.
Hade a great time during the activitie and would definitely do it again. Only thing they could do better is information. Pick up time does not match their website and in the mail they informed us that there was no return service, but when we came there they told us that they would drive us back to our hotel.. Confusing... But the ATV tour was the best
The tour guide is well experienced and knowledgeable, give out the info in the entertaining way, no dead air at all. On the way to ice cave the ride was rough and I have motion sickness, but totally got distracted by his sense of humour. 2 thumbs up.
Such a lovely night! Unfortunately, due to bad weather, we didn't get to see the Northern Lights. The lagoon is amazing though! The guide was really friendly and knew so much about the area. I would definitely recommend this trip.
