Full description

Tour Iceland's southern coast and see natural wonders, including Jökulsárlón and the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Learn about the area from your guide as you visit quaint villages and black sand beaches.

Begin with a visit to the 60-meter-high Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, a must-see attraction for trips down the coast. Then, stop at the southernmost village of Iceland, Vík í Mýrdal before riding east. Watch the scenery transform from lush farmlands to darkened plains and black deserts.

If the conditions allow, pay a visit to the stunning river canyon of Fjadrargljufur. Finally, arrive at Jökulsárlón, and be struck by its ethereal ambiance and glittering icebergs. Keep an eye out for curious seals and dive-bombing Arctic Skuas.

Walk between the icebergs on the “Diamond” Beach, known for its black sand near the glacier lagoon. On the way back, stop to see an old turf church and note its striking resemblance to "hobbit holes." Learn more about this and the region from your guide.

This was just a fine experience. Our guide was very kind and knowledgeable. The views/spots he showed us, as well as the history and the geological info he shared with us was extraordinary. This was an experience I will cherish forever. Thank you!!!!

This was an incredible tour! Anyone who comes to Iceland should do this trip! Yes it’s a long drive but it’s worth it plus the guide always checks for restroom breaks etc. You will get to see some of the most beautiful places on earth! Our guide Gummy was amazing, very informative with so much love for this beautiful country, you can hear it from the stories he tells and the information he shares during the tour. He really wants to show everyone all of the beautiful spots on the way with the consideration that the day is very short right now. The trip is well planned and I have seen everything I had on my bucket list. Thank you Gummy! My husband and I really enjoyed this tour and we’ll remember it for the rest of our lives!

The tour itself is out of this world and something not to be missed in Iceland. Gummi our tour guide was full of interesting stories about Iceland. The only reason I have only scored this tour 4 stars is purely because of the transportation minibus….If you are the last to be picked up and the only remaining seats are the 4 back seats then do not go on the tour and ask to go another day and be the first to be picked up. The back 4 seats are not acceptable for a 14 hour trip, my back was in agony the day after as there is no where near enough room for 4 people. You are squashed in like sardines and have very little view of the landscape along the drive. My advice to the tour company is please only sell 3 of the back seats to give people more comfort.
