This was a once in a lifetime experience!! We stayed in Hveragerdi and tour guide picked us up at a convenient location. Very easy to communicate with. We went in March so snow covered the Glacier where we hiked. It was absolutely stunning! Be sure to wear layers because you'll start off cold but then quickly warm up. The waterfalls and black sand beach were amazing!

Absolutely worth it! The glacier walk on solheimajökull was a bit physical but you could do it very easily.
