Venice is one of the most famous and most intriguing cities in the world, which for 1,500 years was one of Europe's richest and most powerful nations. Monuments, anecdotes, and glimpses of daily life abound in this walk from the city's core, the Piazza San Marco, to the Rialto Bridge over the shimmering Grand Canal. Join me as we explore the street where the revolution failed in 1310, the passageway named for strong drink, the church restored by the egotistic doctor, the square dedicated to one of Venice's greatest and most forgotten heroes, all places where centuries seamlessly join the present in luxury stores, artisans' workshops and pocket-sized cafe's.

The tour guide Remo was very good, told everything in German and English, lots of interesting historical information and experiences about Venice and the tours, so we were in the right mood and full of anticipation. The schedule is too tight, little time for photos or exploring Venice if booking the Lagoon Tour and Gondola Ride. We always kept an eye on not losing him during the lead. He did what was possible, but the schedule was too tight. I would explore on my own next time as the tourist groups were constantly getting in the way and I was busy trying not to fall behind, or the group. Otherwise well organized, everything went smoothly. Would book again.

It was a very nice and to the point tour. We passed by the points of the tour before we start it and then came back to learn the actual meaning of places we didn't know were of interest before.

Super organized! The tour guide was great! It was a wonderful day! Venice is worth a visit!

Great experience. Very courteous and experienced gondolier.
