Learn to make delicious Brazilian food with simple recipes using ingredients found worldwide. Join a fun, hands-on cooking class in Rio. Choose from 2 mouth-watering menus, or a vegetarian menu, and make your own traditional Brazilian recipes and cocktails. Menu options:Bahian Moqueca Make some authentic Moqueca, a seafood coconut stew, paired with toasted 'farofa' with banana and white rice. Wash these dishes down with bottomless Caipirinhas, made with limes and Brazilian rum. For appetizers, you'll cook tapioca crisps, butter manioc, cassava sticks as well as okra sticks and pepper jam. For dessert, delight your taste buds with an incredible brigadeiro, Brazil's take on chocolate fudge, for dessert. Picanha Steak Cook the perfect Picanha in the oven, along with toasted 'forofa' with banana and cooked cassava in butter sauce. Mix as many Caipirinhas as you wish and enjoy the same appetizers and dessert as the first menu option: flambéed okra with onions, seared white cheese with pepper jam, and brigadeiro. Don't forget there's a vegetarian option available as well.

Het was heel fijn om in de supermarkt al dingen mee te krijgen over de Braziliaans cultuur ik heb echt weer wat dingen geleerd echt een aanrader om voor het koken nog te doen. Tijdens het koken is het heel leuk en gezellig de interactie met elkaar is heel leuk. Het personeel is vriendelijk en spreekt goed engels. Het was mijn eerste keer kookles op vakantie maar ik ga dit dus vaker doen.

My absolute favorite activity during my time in Rio. Everything went well, the other participants were super funny, the guide took an interesting supermarket tour beforehand and talked a lot about the local products, the caipirinha was great and cooking was really fun. No “classic” cooking course where everyone has to cook the same dish. You just put everything together and there was basically a finished dish - enough for everyone to try! The mood was so good that we stayed for 1 1/2 hours. It was worth every penny!!

Great experience with Chef Simone. The dish was very good and the explanations really interesting. You will learn more about the origin of the diversity of Brazilian culture through culinary art and you will have the details of the recipe step by step. On top of that you will enjoy an excellent meal and a very cold caipirinha.
