Very nice tour with a clear recommendation. But first things first: trip to the Cristo Redentor by van ... the cogwheel train didn't run that day, for whatever reason. That was a shame, especially because we wanted to see nature in the national park. But the provider can't do anything about that... Cristo Redentor is really impressive... the time there (1 hour) is absolutely sufficient. Then to the Marcana Stadium. This was disappointing as there was only a stop from the outside and the stadium itself is cordoned off with bars. A few pictures were taken, but no highlight ... we then went on to the Cathedral of Rio (wasn't actually included in the tour), very impressive, but we already knew it from the day before. Then, and that was really great, we went to the Escadaria Selarón in Santa Teresa (and that wasn't even planned in the tour). There was enough time for photos and souvenirs. All in all, despite the failure of the cog railway, a great tour.

the tour was misleadingly described, getyourguide once wrote "a lap IN the maracana stadium" and under 'further information' a lap AROUND the stadium - and that was it, a bus ride AROUND the stadium, with 5 minutes!!! fotostop without really seeing the stadium. quite brazen swindle otherwise good guide, Christos statue and take the train there in order. enough time on the mountain, hotel transfer perfect and inclusive. So it's better to leave out the stadium - you can see it better from above - instead, it's better to make a longer stop at the Sambadrome, although it's just not nice there.

Punctual pick-up, information during the city tour and organization of the train journey to Corcovado were outstanding. There was also enough time for photos and an enchanting panoramic view from Corcovado over Rio, the Maracana stadium, the airports, the many bays and sandy beaches and the Sugar Loaf. Overall this was a really great experience.
