What a great way to see the forest! Picked up right on time by my guide, Henry and the driver, Maria. After picking up the rest of the tour folks, we headed for Tijuca. Along the way we stopped to take a look at Pedra da Gavea--a mountain that has a face on it! Once there, we saw beautiful waterfalls, vegetation, and animals. Henry knew everything about everything! The short hike was easy (I was on a tour with several older people and everyone was able to make it -- even the 88 year old!), and it is nice and cool in the forest. After plenty of time there, we visited the Vista Chinesa, a pagoda overlooking the city--incredible views! Everything went great and I'm glad I had someone to give me background on what I was seeing.

Fabulous tour our guide was the best he was friendly and knowledgeable. We used two jeeps for our group and had a guide in each jeep. Both guides were perfect even helped with photos. They took our physical ability into consideration when it came to the walking paths One of the best things we did in Rio. Absolutely loved it. The drivers were safe and obviously well trained and experienced.

Great insights, but expandable.

We were picked up with a little delay at the hotel, but the guide called in advance at our front desk, and informed that they were late, so it was okay. Then it went with the open jeep direction rainforest. The guide could perfectly English and has a lot of the city, the history and of course the national park told. We stopped at a big waterfall, but "only" to take pictures. A bath was not possible, a great pity. The walk was amazing, great route and not too long! In general, the tour made the impression unfortunately as if they are a little under time pressure ... I can still recommend it!
