What people are saying about Riviera Maya

We did the half day Sian ka’an tour It was amazing! We were paired with Carlos as our guide. We were picked up promptly and on time in a wonderful air conditioned van. Carlos is very sweet and really cares about the environment. He was so knowledgeable and charismatic that it made our tour even better! We discussed different bird, plant and animal species. We adventured through the Sian Ka’an nature reserve and had so much fun floating through the crystal clear mangroves. The snacks and lunch Carlos provided was delicious ( according to my husband it was the best thing he ate in Tulum) we loved our tour so much we booked two more while in Tulum! Luigi is also a wonderful tour guide he is so cool and helped me brush up on my Italian! He was very energetic and kind! He navigated us through the Chichen-Itza/ cenote tour and the Tulum ruin/tankah park tour! It was all phenomenal. The cenotes were beautiful and we had a wonderful traditional Mayan lunch! AND THE PHOTOS! We will be back!

Word limit on review. Could sing praises far more than this allows. Carlos was incredible - so knowledgable and friendly. He was Mayan so truly knew. We were also greeted by a Mayan Sharman for the ceremony and the local member of staff. We saw howler monkeys, spider monkeys and many awesome birds and plants. Adults and babies! All explained brilliantly by both guys. We rappelled down to and swam in the cenote which was bliss, we walked through beautiful jungle with experts in listening to and explaining about the jungle animals. Take swimwear and towel. We open canoed across the lagoon and ziplined across it. On the way back, because our hotel was nearer than Cancun, Carlos kindly took us to a lovely local taco place. Snacks and drinks on journey too! Everything we could have asked for and more. We felt 100% safe, comfortable and delighted at all times. Thank you so much for a fabulous trip!

Our guide Javier provided us with a terrific day of multiple experiences-floating through mangroves was amazing as were the trips to various cenotes and a zip-line trip across one of them. He also filled us in on a good deal of local history, language and experiences. All in all it was a highlight of our trip to Playa and I would highly recommend the experience.

15min transfer from Ferry Pier Playa del Carmen, group of 14 pax (we were the last ones). Very motivated guide in the park, great tour in the jungle park, also suitable for children. Very detailed introduction. Easy tour packed with activities. Photos at the end can be bought for around 59 dollars (good image quality). Gladly again!

Great tour with Andres! We went straight out to snorkel and Andres made sure we were away from the crowds from other tours; our private reef! Then on to see the Tulum ruins. Great tour, great guide and highly recommend this tour over the many power boats up the beach.
