Head out on an incredible tour that goes to the very heart of ancient Rome and allows you to explore the Empire’s most iconic monuments, including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Palantine Hill. Learn interesting facts and stories from your licensed guide as you walk through each attraction. With your group, an experienced tour guide will take you back to the time of gladiator fights at the Colosseum. Your guide will also reveal the secrets of the Roman Forum, which was the political and economic center of the city. No tour of this area would be complete without exploring the Palatine Hill. This was the Beverly Hills of ancient Rome, where emperors and nobles resided, high above the common people below.

Meet at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, the square located on the terrace ABOVE the Colosseum Metro Station. The guide will be wearing a purple t-shirt at the UPPER exit of the Metro Station. (Please note: if you are in front of the Metro Station, please make your way UPSTAIRS.) Please note that it is a requirement to be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes prior to the starting time of your activity. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed entrance.

Literally had the BEST tour guide. She was a hoot. I was scared I would get stuck with a tour guide that just repeated what’s off of plaques in different words, but she told us so many things we wouldn’t have known otherwise. And she even brought a book to show us what monuments looked like before they were ruins. It was a lovely tour! :)

Amanda our guide was great, brilliant knowledge and good advice on what to do and where to go after. She took her time and although we ran over this was well worth it and she didn’t mind, in fact we felt if we’d wanted longer it wouldn’t have been a problem. Thank you so much just wish we’d booked you for the Vatican.

Tour was excellent and the guide, Alexandra was very entertaining. The time flew by quickly and we did not get a chance to go to the Palentine Hill but I was not disappointed since we covered the Colosseum so thoroughly. My kids loved the tour and I heard no complaining during the 3.5 hours.
