Perfect day and nice guide on the bus trip. We chose to go to Pompeii ourselves. Had we been pointed out more precisely where the finest villas existed, it would have been even better. Read on if things were going fast before. We could see what we wanted because we asked inside the area. We chose to go ourselves and have our lunch in our own place. Did not feel like the pizza lunch had been worth the price although it included guiding inside Pompeii.

Long day. I had to walk almost 30 minutes each way to pickup and drop off, but easy to do- lots of things to see while walking- totally doable. very nice bus guide. Saw Pompeii self-guided-liked this. Didn’t expect the 1hr guided walking tour in Naples so it was a nice surprise. Great tour.

Worth it

First we only bought the bus ticket + entrance. We later realised that the rest of the bus har lunch and guide included, so with help from the staff de managed to buy that too (for an extra 65€ per person). We were very happy with our decision since it would've been impossible to do Pompei on our own in just two hours. The only bad thing is the short amount of time spent in old Pompei, since lots of time was used to do the tour via bus in Neapel and eating lunch in Pompei. We'd wish for some free time in Pompei so that we could've visited the museum and watch some of the ruins by ourselves.
