We opted for the €77 ticket as on the GetYourGuide website, it didn't make clear what the difference was between that and the more expensive option. Our trip was on Friday 20th August and we had an amazing day. It was extremely hot so I would advise wearing lots of spf and a hat, and bring chilled water in a cooler bottle for the day to help keep hydrated. We were on a bus at 7.30 and stopped for coffee half way to Napoli and Pompeii. Once we reached Napoli, we received a 1 hour walking tour of some main areas and this was brilliant, but this wasn't mentioned on the website which I found odd as it was a great addition to the trip. After this we proceeded to Pompei where those of us with cheaper tickets made our own food arrangements (there's a number of restaurants there and they are moderately priced) while the other bus members went for food together. We explored Pompeii for 3 hours and loved it. Brilliant value trip and worth doing

Everything worked great, the 20-person bus was half full, as ticket-only bookers we were very well instructed about the times and meeting points, the ticket is sent to the cell phone via whatsapp if you feel confident enough to go to the site yourself explore or want to have some freedom to take photos, you choose this option here and do without a pizza-plus-1 free drink lunch and the guide, but all information and plans can be downloaded beforehand from the pompeii homepage and the visit already planning, the interesting buildings can be recognized by the information boards for the audio guide users anyway - you just have to clarify with the guide beforehand which entrance is the meeting point again, you then have about 3 hours for the ruins, on hot days you have to use sunscreen , have an umbrella and lots of water with you! the little detour to naples with a short tour through the historic old town is also nice if you haven't seen the city before

Perfect day and nice guide on the bus trip. We chose to go to Pompeii ourselves. Had we been pointed out more precisely where the finest villas existed, it would have been even better. Read on if things were going fast before. We could see what we wanted because we asked inside the area. We chose to go ourselves and have our lunch in our own place. Did not feel like the pizza lunch had been worth the price although it included guiding inside Pompeii.
