The way this activity is explained is terrible. Get Your Guide hires a local agency to do this tour and it´s really not what they advertise. They do pick you up from the hotel and leave you at Vatican door with your ticket but NO explanation or tips whatsoever. Then there is "free" time before lunch ( mediocre food ) and afterwards they made us wait until their 3:00 tour was ready to go into Vatican Museums and it was a rushed visit to the Sixtine Chapel and the Basilica and too late to go into the catacombs or anything else. At the en the activity took 11 hours from pickup with lots of idle time. The tickets for the papal audience are free and can be picked at Vatican early before the audience. I recommend you book a separate tour to skip the line for Vatican and don't invest a full day for a disappointing visit.

It was the worst tour that I ever did. We were collected on time and drop into the sant Peter square but no one explained the plan for the day. We just had the ticket for the audience (that is free entrance) then at 10.15 the audience was finished and we were waiting until 12.15 for a guide to arrive. Then they bring us to a poor restaurant and the guide walked us to the entrance of the Vatican. We didn't.t go into the Vatican until 3 PM. We were literally waiting 4.30 hours and the tour just had a guide inside the vatican and the basilic. Honestly it was super bad organized. Carlos the "guide" didn't set up the expectations of the day at all in the morning and when I complained to him. He said that he didn't need to do it. Really this is overpriced. Recomendation: take the free tickets for the audience and go one day there and other get the tour for the vatican. But not both things together. It is a waste of time energy and money. I hate to complain, but this time it was necessary

Overpriced for experience tour guide left us as Gran disabled

Booked this and was picked up from hotel started great. Dropped off with guide who hardly spoke English. Didn’t explain anything told us meet us at spot for lunch. However wasn’t same exit as entry - Gran 82yrs old and has difficulty walking. Called tour guide no on ticket told I’d be called back to give help and didn’t receive a call. Had to find location myself. Terrible customer service. Had lunch which was lovely. Went to museum again distance walking for Gran had to get taxi. When got to museum given wheelchair but ended up going round ourselves. We were advised that wouldn’t get to cistine chapel as full of steps and wasn’t taken to into vatican for tour. Then we had to make our own way back to hotel in taxi. Paid £92 each however only £17 entry to museum guessing lunch didn’t cost near £75? Actually an awful experience and this was my grans dream experience on her bucket list. Heartbroken this was her main attraction for our visit in Rome.
