Full description
Take an evocative, fascinating tour down the Appian Way, one of the first streets in Rome. The Ancient Appian Way is also known as the “Queen of the Streets” – it crosses the famous Parco degli Acquedotti, an important biological corridor in Rome’s city center, which tells the tale of the history of water in Rome and its related engineering works – in fact, six ancient Roman aqueducts converge here.   The rest of the tour takes you down a route that evokes the best of the region’s history, culture and art. You will ride on a top-notch and smooth e-bike on a 2,300-year-old meadow and relive the history of the great empire, crossing a unique landscape full of ancient footprints, imperial mansions, statues, tombs, and the St. Calisto Catacombs.

We had a great biking experience! It coincidentally ended up being a private tour with our guide, Fabrizio, and he was very knowledgeable about everything we saw, questions we asked, going our preferred pace, and ensuring our safety on the roads. It's not cheap, but worth the price! We would absolutely take another tour with them!

    Great way to learn things

Have never tested electric bike before. It was really fun. Also think it was lucky that we took a ride by electric bike when it was as hot as it was. We cycled on narrow roads, lonely roads and a little up and down. We stopped a few times to refill the water bottles and to have our guide talk about aqueducts, ancient graffiti and Via Appia. Very nice to get away from town for a while.
