Full description
Your VIP day begins at the Vatican Museums, where your private guide will wait for you. Enter the museums before the general public and visit the Sistine Chapel to enjoy a VIP viewing. Continue through the highlights of the museums together with your knowledgeable guide, and finish with a visit to St Peter's Basilica, which you will enter through a short-cut from the museum. Next, take a taxi to the Pantheon, and continue through the Eternal city on foot to enjoy the picturesque squares and cobblestone alleys. A visit to the city center would not be complete without a stop by the Trevi Fountain, where a single coin toss promises that you will return to Rome. As you walk, your guide will share stories and fun facts with you. After a break, your next stop is the Colosseum and the ancient city. As this is a VIP tour, you will see the Colosseum's underground section, including a walk on the arena floor itself. Next, head to the Palatine Hill, where the Roman emperors lived. Finally your tour will end at the Roman Forum.

    Important information

    Know before you go

    • Occasionally the basilica may be closed due to last minute private events outside of the tour operators control and often without notice. In these uncommon circumstances the tour will operate as usual and the time spent inside the basilica will be enjoyed by an extended tour in an alternative area.
    • Please note: Due to new health and safety regulations, the Vatican currently opens at 8:30 rather than 8:00am. Despite the later start, our early entrance tour is in all other ways identical to the 7:30am tour. By arriving 30 minutes before Vatican doors open, we get you into the museums first, so you can go directly to the Raphael rooms and the Sistine Chapel before the crowds and enjoy them with as few people as possible.
