Absolutely fantastic tour - Simona is not only a great guide but brilliant with kids as well. I really wanted someone who could bring the Colosseum and Forum to life for my 7yo daughter and I don't think I could have picked a better tour. From the very start, she made it a game (literally, with points scored for spotting certain things, for getting answers right, even a prize at the end). And while it was always fun and pitched at just the right level for the kids on the tour, we all learned a huge amount, nothing was dumbed down. The fact we got to skip the queues was another bonus (relatively short in February but at busier months it would be invaluable). If we ever go back, I'd definitely book again with them, and highly recommend it if you're in Rome with kids.

We had great fun with Amandio. The Gelato was delicious and the kids loved riding his trusty rusty steed (horse) through the back streets of Trastavere. But do your pre-reading so you can match his “everything was invented in Rome” challenge.
