Didn't have time to finish the tour

My advice to anyone booking is to allocate extra time for waiting in line. The Colosseum was at max capacity (even on a weekend in an off season). The wait in line was longer than expected so I wasn't able to finish the tour and only had time to see inside the Colosseum (which was good with an excellent tour guide) and had to skip the rest. They tried their best to accommodate me and said I could come back the next day but I was only there for one day. It's too bad I still paid full price but it was my partly my fault in the end for my poor time management.

Amazing tour with John

My daughter got ill the first day when we arrived to Rome and I wanted to change our ticket. It was not a problem at all. What a service! Very pleasant staff welcomed us on the next day and introduce to our guide. On a sunny day they gave us a bottle of water, for free. Our guide was very knowledgable and nice to all of us which were from age 12 to age 82. Interaction was perfect and his flexibility is very much appreciated. Breaks and warnings during the tour regarding long queues for sanitary stops are basic but very helpful tips. And of course the best home made gelatos. If you get a chance to pick this guy remember, his name is John “from a little country on Balcan”. Graduated archaeologist John will take you back to the time of Romans and let you dream about it. Worth of every penny!
