Full description

Enjoy a private tour of the Vatican. Thanks to a new partnership in 2022, you can now be among the first to enter into the Museums, with access reserved for only a handful of other tour operators.

Take advantage of exclusive access and viewing of the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel 30 minutes before other tours and 1 hour before the general public. Explore the highlights of the papal palace, from the Greek statues of the Lacoon to the Tapestries and the exquisite Raphael Rooms. Tailor your visit to include the aspects of the collections you want to see, whether in the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, or St. Peter’s Basilica. Your personal guide will not only enlighten you with the Vatican’s fascinating history, but share bits of papal gossip and little-known stories about the popes and artists represented.

    Important information

    Know before you go

    • Large bags, bigger than 15.7 inch x 13.7 inch x 6 inch (40 cm x 35 cm x 15 cm), and/or an umbrella (if not foldable), must be checked into the wardrobe of the entrance hall. It is recommended to leave these items at home
    • Dress Code: cover knees and shoulders
    • Occasionally the basilica may be closed due to last minute private events outside of the tour operators control and often without notice. In these uncommon circumstances the tour will operate as usual and the time spent inside the basilica will be enjoyed by an extended tour in an alternative area
    • Due to new health and safety regulations, the Vatican currently opens at 8:30 rather than 8:00am. Despite the later start, the early entrance tour is in all other ways identical to the 7:30am tour. By arriving 30 minutes before Vatican doors open, you enter the museums first, so you can go directly to the Raphael rooms and the Sistine Chapel before the crowds and enjoy them with as few people as possible.

    Amazing! Just do it!

Alessandra our guide, was a pearl! Enthused, full of humour, with such a sweet micro Italian accent as she spoke French. The only way to do the Vaticsn in our opinion. Rooms of museums were empty, or almost, and again, Alessandra is THE BEST to drive you through the amazing stories of this place!!! Go for it! Really worth it!

    excellent guide

Pamen accompanied us at all times, informing us in detail about everything. He took us straight to the Sistine Chapel, to see it before it got crowded. Very knowledgeable about what we would see there, about the history, etc. and quite enjoyable. I highly recommend doing the guided tour, 3 hours, and then going back to your own pace at the beginning to visit it carefully. You can easily spend 6 hours visiting

    To recommend imperatively

A little expensive, but considering the privilege of the visit with far fewer tourists, this little moment of luxury is to be recommended. Alexandra our guide, extremely pleasant, was very flexible and inventive, while at the last minute we were forced to shorten our visit for scheduling reasons. THANK YOU Alexandra!!!
