Full description
Experience fine dining, visit a vineyard and explore the picturesque lakeside town of Castel Gandolfo on this day trip from Rome. Depart for the Castel de Paulis Vineyard by minibus and enjoy for a tour of the wine cellar and vineyard, followed by a wine tasting. The tasting includes 3 wines produced at the vineyard, paired with cheese and prosciutto.
Following the wine tasting, your guide will take you to visit Castel Gandolfo, one of Italy’s most beautiful towns. Explore the cobbled streets, taste local porchetta, and learn about the history of the town. Afterwards, head to La Gardenia.
Upon arrival to La Gardenia, enjoy a gourmet lunch on the terrace overlooking Lake Albano. Try gnocchi with black truffles or linguine with lobster. Finally, explore the ancient Roman cave under the restaurant with a coffee or limoncello, before your driver takes you back to Rome.
