To say the Vintage Vespa tour was amazing would only be drumming it down!! It was the highlight of our holidays My pals and I visited Rome last weekend for my birthday and had booked the tour little did we know how amazing the experience would be. The tour drivers minded us all so well there were so professional, i was really nervous on the back of the bike but my guide Alesso ensured that I felt safe checking with me all the time to make sure I was enjoying the tour. . We visited the baths the Vatican and many other sites, my favourite being the top of the mountain where we got a sureal view of the city of Rome and all the churches it was breath taking . They even brought a bottle of bubbly when they realized it was a birthday celebration and presented it to us at the top of the mountain they knew every inch of Rome. I would highly recommend this tour!! They made the weekend ! They made sure we had fun and let us design the tour ourselves they gave us lots of options to choose from
Perfect way to experience Rome in a day. We budgeted only one day to visit Rome during our tour of Italy. We considered renting a Vespa for 24 hours, but we were concerned about the driving customs and rules, as well as navigating all of the many one-way streets and pedestrian-only walkways. We decided at the last minute to book this instead, and it was the most fantastic way to see all of the very best of Rome in just around 4 hours. Our guide, Mario, was extremely knowledgeable, a Roman by birth and son of a Roman diplomat, Mario was fluent in 6+ languages and knew all of the “secret” ways to drive our Vespas extremely close to all of the most popular sites, allowing us to quickly hop off, tour, and get right back on the road. We made at least 20 stops during our trip, including Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Coliseum, the Roman Forum, Monte Testaccio, Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, Villa Borghese, Church of Sant'Ignazio at Loyola, other fountains, and a stop for gelato!
This was easily the highlight of our time in Rome! Perfect balance of history and adventure. Our guide Katerina was an excellent historian of the city, very helpful Vespa leader, and pleasant host. We saw more of the city then would have been possible without a much longer stay. It would be hard to replicate the experience of riding on a Vespa through the winding streets with a professional guide. Thank you again Katerina!
I surprised my husband by taking him for a tour of Rome on a vespa! We absolutely LOVED it! Smiled the whole way through! Our tour guide, Andrea, was brilliant! He was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and he answered all our questions. We absolutely loved it and would do it again!
It was a very fun afternoon. Andrea was a wonderful guide. He knew a lot and was easy and enjoyable to talk to.
