This is the second trip I used get your guide in Rome and I have to say I doubt there can be a better quality experience at this price. Our guide Alessandra had her own business “City Tours” and was friendly from the first moment that we met her. A historian by trade, it’s clear her love of her home city of Rome made her not only passionate about explaining the history of her birthplace, but also she did so in a way that made you excited to learn more also. With 30c and full sun she remained 100% focused throughout and made sure that nobody got left behind. When someone in the group disappeared she checked to make sure they were okay before continuing with the tour. We really felt we got the red carpet experience and Ale had so many tips about Rome and made us feel welcome to ask her questions about the city. It’s because of this experience that we will always book with get your guide in future. Thank you Ale and have a wonderful summer Gary and Asier x

There is so much to see that it makes your head spin, but our guide did an excellent job explaining the different aspects of Vatican City and pointing out the highlights. We spent time after the tour to climb the dome -- which is a "don't miss it" experience -- and to go back through some areas pointed out during the tour. We were very glad to be in the earliest groups on the grounds which allowed us to avoid crowds, to some extent, that by mid-morning were pretty thick.

As always, an incredible experience. Our guide Barbra was well informed and exceptional. That said, once at the Basilica her microphone went dead and after waiting for over 15 minutes for her company to send/bring a replacement, our group broke up sending several members off with a less than appreciated feeling. I felt for Barbara in that she can only succeed as well as her equipment will allow.
