The tour starts with meeting the guide outside the fjord station of Romsdalsgondolen in the center of Åndalsnes. Take the gondola to the top of the Mount Nesaksla together. Romsdalsgondolen is Norway’s longest cable car of its kind, and has a view over famous sites such as Troll Wall, Trollstigen and the Romsdalen Fjord. When arriving on the top, the guide will lead the way towards Rampestreken. After passing Eggen Restaurant you will walk downhill approx. 15-20 minutes. Parts of the path consists of Sherpa stairs which makes it easier to climb the steep hills. At Rampestreken, challenge yourself by walking to the very end of the viewpoint and take in the views! The 20 meter free-hanging ramp will give you butterflies and unique photos from Romsdalen. Hike back up to the top of the mountain together with the guide. The tour will end when you have arrived back to Romsdalsgondolen fjord station and Eggen Restaurant. You can then choose to go down together with the guide, or have a drink, coffee or lunch before you go back down when you are ready.

A guide will take you up with the gondola and take you on a hike around the top of the mountain. You will be walking on a prepared gravel path, and will be offered a good mix of stories from the region, ranging from 1800-history to current events. If you are lucky you might learn about a few secret, secluded spots where you can find inner peace among majestic mountains. This guided activity includes a return gondola ticket. Meet up at Åndalsnes Train Station - located next to the Romsdalen gondola station. A local guide will give you an introduction to snowshoeing and help you get fully equipped with snowshoes and sticks, all prepared for a unique experience. When the group is ready, step into Norway's longest gondola and enjoy the 5-minute long ride to the top of mount Nesaksla with 360 degree views. Tighten your snowshoes and step into the white powder! The tour starts slowly and the guide will make sure everyone is comfortable with their equipment. You will be taken to the best photo spots, and you can enjoy the sights of both the Romsdalen Fjord, Rauma River and sharp mountains like Vengetind, Trolltindene and Loftskarstind. Afterwards, you can warm up in the cozy armosphere of Eggen Restaurant 708 m. Here you will be served a hot drink; either tea, coffee or hot chocolate. You can stay as long as you want, and take the gondola down at your own time. The gondola departs every full and half hour.
