This half day tour will take you to one of the most popular area in Provence and south of France: you'll be driven across a very nice landscape with many kinds of crops , vineyards and fruit trees before you stop and discover some of the most picturesque hilltop villages in the Luberon region, villages which rank among the most beautiful villages of France: Roussillon, built on top of an ochre cliff (ochre is a natural pigment which can be found in the soil and which is used for the painting and decoration of the houses): stroll in the narrow streets of this colourfull village, then 15min from there, you'll be at another village, Gordes, entirely built with dry stones coming from the mountain; this village offers an amazing view from its west side and gives the visitor a very good example of a perched village built at the foot of its castle built in the XI century and rebuilt in the XVI century and its church. On Tuesdays, enjoy the provençal market around the castle of Gordes with all the products which are part of Provence, such as fruits, olive oil, wine, goat cheese, lavender, etc.

A most wonderful morning spent visiting the Luberon highlights. We were expertly guided by Caroline, a very warm, friendly and professional guide. She shared lots of information about the locality and French culture. She was very attentive to all guests and included everyone in conversations as we drove to the villages. She gave us clear tips for visiting the villages and instructions to rendezvous pick ups. A very pleasurable experience and worth the cost. I recommend!

Disappointed the driver only took us for a quick photo shot of Gordes and didn't take us into the city. That was the main reason to take the tour in the first place. Spent too much time at Rossullion. Time spent at both villages should have been the other way around! She was more worried about getting back for her afternoon tour

The guide Silvia was at the top: pleasant, smiling, full of joy. We made this course with great wonder. We have the right to beautiful stories and legends all along the journeys to go from one village to another. It was great to be able to have time from one of the Luberon villages. Highly recommend this experience!

Nice to have an intimate size group. We had extra time and our guide graciously stopped by a lavender field so we could take photos. Had time to walk around in Roussillon and Fontaine sur Vaucluse. Not as much history explained but some , good if you just want to see the Provençal towns !

Miss Lea is a wonderful tourguide and a super sweet girl. I had a terific half-day experience with her.
