Full description

Seeing the aurora borealis (northern lights) is on the bucket list of many travelers, and this is the perfect opportunity to fulfill that dream. On this group trip from Rovaniemi, visit a great location to enjoy the magic of this natural phenomenon. After pickup in Rovaniemi, drive outside of the city toward the viewing location. To reach a light-pollution-free location, the journey is about 1 hour. Having no or little light pollution is important for northern lights observation. Stops will be made along the drive. If lucky, you may be able to already spot the northern lights on the way. Upon arrival at the viewing spot, an experienced guide will tell you about the northern lights, including how they are formed and why they have different colors. They will also gladly answer any of your questions. As you are watching the northern lights shining in the sky, your guide will be preparing a fire and barbecue. Enjoy traditional Finnish snacks, such as sausages, cookies, and hot juice. After the trip, your guide will drive you back to your accommodation in Rovaniemi.

It was a great experience with Parpalandia group. It was supposed to be a group tour, but because of off season it ended up like a private tour. We got to see the northern lights and were also served with hot sausages and hot juice. Additionally, our guide - Jose was super friendly and made us feel comfortable; also gave us lot of information about Finland and northern lights. He was kind to click our beautiful pictures with the northern lights. Would definitely recommend this tour and the guide- Jose

We were able to see the most wonderful, amazing and espectacular show ever from Northern Lights. Our tour guide was Jose Lopez and did an outstanding job with us. He made the experience way better that we expected even with the bad forecast we had. The passion, enthusiasm, and professionalism made our experience unforgettable. Wycieczkę zarezerwowaliśmy na sobotę, jednak w piątek otrzymaliśmy telefon od organizatora, że na ten dzień przewidywana jest lepsza pogoda do obserwowania zorzy. Zmieniliśmy więc dzień, i tu już duży plus za zaangażowanie. Całość przebiegła bardzo sprawnie, zostaliśmy punctualnie odebrani z hotelu, cała wycieczka trwała faktycznie 5 h. Zorza była widoczna praktycznie przez cały czas, więc super. To dla nas z mężem coś więcej niż spełnienie marzenia :) Z opisu Wywnioskowałem jednak, że na ognisko będą kiełbaski, pianki, grzane wino, a było tylko picie i parówki, trochę inaczej to sobie wyobrażałam mówiąc. Dostaliśmy porządne ubrania na miejscu. Cztery gwiazdki, bo busy mogłyby powoli zostać wymienione na nowszy model. Ford, którym jechaliśmy nie zdołał nagrzać się w ciągu godziny, gdy wracaliśmy do hotelu a wszyscy marzli. Poza tym polecam well 101%!
