The trip was greatly refreshing as the weather was superb and there was light showers in the morning which enhanced the lovely forest smells. Although we were supposed to be picked up at 9:45 & our guide Yanis was late that we waited till 10:18, yet he did an excellent job the moment he drove us to Vikakongas until the moment he dropped us at the hotel. He also compensated us for the time we wasted waiting & gave us a really good hike, shared with us lots of information & stories, gave us a cool challenge, took us to a tower that shows a beautiful view of Vikakongas from above, offered us coffee and a finnish pie while the break up there & lent us his knife to carve our initials too. We then continued our hike, found a lovely spot to barbecue beside the river, had blueberry juice and a yummy berries pie for dessert. Yanis loves what he is doing, if you can choose your guide, go for him.

Amazing view! And we have very wonderful time with our guides (Clement and Franco), Clement has a good sense of humour and very knowledgeable. Discovering Finnish life and tasting blueberry, Iingberry in the forest , what a wonderful experience. I recommend this trip~ by the way the hot blueberry tea tastes very good:)
