Full description

Start your adventure with a meet and greet in your accomodation with your guide. From here you will be taken to the breathtaking terrain of the arctic forest where the day's activities will commence. Now it's time to lace up your snowshoes and begin your hike through the frozen wilderness of the forest. Take a trip to a frozen lake where you will learn the art of ice fishing with a professional guide. The guide will teach you how to use the relevant fishing tools and how to make a hole in the ice - there are plenty of fish to catch in Lappish lakes! Take time out to enjoy a provided Salmon BBQ in addition to the fish you catch on the day. Afterwards, you will be provided with survival floating suits and have the opportunity to take part in one of Lapland's most exciting experiences, ice floating. Finish your day with convenience as your guides take you back to your accomodation.

This experience was a lot of fun - good for all ages from age 10 to 54 years! Our guide was lovely and cooked some very decent sausages and salmon on the barbecue! The highlightwas the floating absolutely amazing experience - there is a minimum height restriction of 160cm which we weren't aware of when we booked so our 10 year old couldn't take part but other than that everything was the great

Dennis, our guide was a friendly and accommodating guide. He is a fun-loving individual which is apparent in the way he led us through all the activities, playing jokes which made the experience an unforgettable one. The route was well planned in a way which did not overtire us and would heat the body up whenever it got too cold.
