We were very lucky, as we got to see the northern lights. Regardless, the activity itself was a win. The team was incredibly nice and organized. A special mention goes to Étienne for being available and friendly. The bbq under the tipi was a blast, it was delicious and the quantities were more than enough. We were lucky to have tried local food mixed with local culture. Whether you see the lights or not, the experience is a must to do during your trip to Rovaniemi.

We couldn't see the Northern lights because of the clouds. The group was split to 2 groups. The BBQ was great (hotdogs, marshmallows, salmon soup, berries juice) other than that, don't expect to switch location to find the lights. The trip is first of all BBQ night and if you get lucky is also the lights. We drove about hour (even less) to a lake outside Rovaniemi.

It was a very enjoyable experience with our guides! Informative trip & Claudia's energy level was great! Loved the BBQ too & warm blueberry juice. We didn't get to see the northern lights due to weather conditions so it was too bad, but it was still a fun trip!
