Meet your guide in Rovaniemi and drive out of the city to the forest. Stop nearby a lake in the lap of nature. Learn how to set up a campfire in an authentic Finnish Laavu (wilderness shelter) from your guide.

Enjoy the clear, open skies while your guide grills Finnish sausages for you along with a traditional hot Christmas drink made with Lappish berries. You are welcome to cook it yourself on the open fire if you wish to get a more hands-on experience.

Get your photos clicked by your guide. Depending on your luck and the weather conditions on the day of the tour, Aurora lights can be captured in the snaps too. After enjoying Mother Nature's light show, be driven back to Rovaniemi.

It was a beautiful experience. We had a private tour with our guide who took us to a beautiful place with a great and unobstructed view of the sky. Our guide went out of his way to pick us up on time and took professional photos of the Northern Lights. There was also an open fire, tea and sausages. The duration of the northern lights tour was just right and the professional photos were sent to us the very next day.
