We were so lucky to have Abdu as our driver on the three day Sahara tour from Marrakech to Fes, because he had also taken us to the day tour to Essaouira we knew he would show us the best places. He stopped along the way so we could take the best pictures. Often times we saw other drivers pass by while we were taking pictures or looking at special landmarks along the way. From the different stops we made, people we met and places we saw, because of Abdu, we learned so much about the Moroccan people and their culture. A truly unforgettable experience. The landmarks we saw along the way, the people we met and the night in the Sahara desert are a lifetime of unforgettable memories. The van we rode in was very comfortable and air conditioned, which tracking in July was a must. We wish we could have taken Abdu along the way for the rest of our Marokko trip. We were so sad when we had to say our goodbyes. Best driver, best trip, most amazing memories a must do while in Morocco!!!!

This tour was an incredible experience, I highly recommend it. Some things to keep in mind to set expectations: You will be in a van quite a bit, the desert is far from Marrakech and Fes. A lot of the roads going through the mountains are under construction and that will slow things down some and make for quite the bumpy ride for sections of the journey. It's 100% worth all the van riding though. My driver Haj was very friendly and made sure everything was as comfortable as possible for everyone along the way. Make sure you bring some Dirhams with you to purchase various little things along the way, like sodas or snacks. I really recommend upgrading to the luxury tent option, I've stayed in hotels in America that weren't as nice as my 'tent' with a hot shower and normal, Western style bathrooms. On this tour you'll get some amazing photos and learn lots of cool things about Morocco and the Berber people.

Really, really great experience. The tour that is described is the tour you will go on. Our hotel room the first night was much much better than we had expected based on the other reviews that we read before the excursion. It had really beautiful furniture and a nice balcony. The standard camping accommodations also exceeded our expectations. There were 2 clean twin beds in a warm tent with warm blankets. We had a really great dinner at the camp site as well. The only thing that could have been made more clear was that the third day of the tour is really only an 8 hour long bus ride from the camping site to fes. It is a beautiful drive though. Also the guides are partnered with local businesses and will take you to tourist traps. There are much cheaper places to buy scarves and lunches. Our driver Haaj was the best! The tour guides were funny and smart. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Each day is broken up with regular stops either for excursions and photo opportunitues or refreshment and toilet breaks. The bus was comfy and the driver and guides very knowledgeable. There was some pressure to buy a scarf on the 1st day (can buy them for €3-5 elsewhere and later in the trip vs €10-12) but they are very polite if you decline. Great value for money and an amazing experience all round. Would recommend this over the deluxe option.

This tour is exactly as advertised. There is a lot of time spent driving, but the drives are all beautiful and the drivers are very skilled. All of the tour guides were very knowledgable and easy to listen to. The accommodations were above my expectations as well at both the hotel and the campsite. The only caveat was that the third day is mostly spent on the bus driving back to Fès. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone as an introductory experience to Morocco!
