During this tour, you'll see 2 different winery styles. First, discover a traditional winery with an authentic cellar and typical architecture of Saint-Emilion, producing a traditional style of wine for the region. The second winery is a forward-looking one with modern cellar and cutting edge technology. Discover how the winemakers use modern technology and viticulture techniques to perfect the winemaking process and produce a different, innovate style of wine. Learn all about the vines, the varietals, the ageing, and everything about it. The visit will be followed by the tasting of 3 Saint Emilion Grand Cru wines, from the different estates with an introduction to wine tasting techniques. The visit and tasting will be followed by a picnic, paired with a glass of wine of your choice.

We’ve just come back from the tour and picnic which we really enjoyed and would recommend. The tour is around an hour and a good introduction for beginners. The wine tasting and picnic were great. The guide spoke good English and was very helpful. The facilities were very clean as well.

From what I read, I thought we were going from one winery to another but instead it was basically two wineries in the same vineyard. The tasting was good but the picknic was not at all nice. We did not enjoy the food and I love French food. Not to mention, in the photos with the picknic tables it doesn't show that the picknic tables are in the parking lot (turnaround) in front of the winery. It would have been nice to have them at least on the edge of the vineyard.
