What people are saying about Saint Isaac's Cathedral

We booked this tour with an english speaking guide to make sure we understood what we were seeing. Well worth it. You could try doing it independently but you would miss so much information. Our guide Olga arrived and was excellent from the very outset. Her knowledge and passion for the tour was exceptional. Peter and Paul fortress excellent, followed by church of the spilled blood and onto St Isaac cathedral. Although we were the only two on the tour we found Olga made us feel like a member of her own family when it came to stop for a traditional russian lunch. When it came to the highlight of the tour which was the Hermitage museum this is where the expert guide Olga made the tour worth every penny. Her knowledge as we said earlier was brilliant. Booking through Get your guide was the first time we have booked experiences online but will definitely be using this website in the future. Rob and Vanessa Newell

This was a private family tour of Catherine the Great's Summer Palace, the Hermitage and the Winter palace with hotel pickup and drop off in a clean late model minivan The tour was efficiently run with punctual pickup and drop off at the various locations. There was a seperate driver and tour guide. The guide gave an oustanding background to the Romanov family which resembled the detail of a Russian novel. This was as well as information specific to various exhibits. We had teenage children and our guide initially sanitised parts of the story but we indicated we were happy to tell it as it was and she happily complied. Our children were not upset.

We booked 2 Day St Petersburg Tour on Monday, September 02 and Tuesday 03. Our provider was Ludmila Tours, and our guide was Eugenia and Boris our driver. It was very nice; Saint Petersburg is amazing but Boris and Eugenia were fantastic. The tour was for a up 16 people, but 1st day we were the only ones and next day we were 4 people, so basically was a private tour. So much fun. Thanks so very much!

Very good city tour which allows us to understand the history and the topology of the places. Excellent guide with perfect explanation and comments, in perfect French. Let yourself be guided and watch. We gave free rein to the guide to choose the places. Special mention for the docks, a new abandoned district which is being rehabilitated on the shores of the Baltic. Interesting.

great way to get an overview of the key sites of St.Petersburg, Valeria was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. Everything was very well organised, and Andrey was a very good driver, and the minibus was very comfortable. would not hesitate to recommend.
