A full on busy day which I would describe as a taster visit, allowing you time to appreciate rather than absorb everything in Salzburg. The trip on the boat is extra & is definitely worth it. PAUL was an excellent guide being both entertaining & informative; his whistle stop walking tour around Salzburg really did help get the most out of the trip.

If you are a fan of the Sound of Music then this tour will make complete sense. They do a good job of showing you the places where the scenes were shot and some backstory to understand reality vs. fiction. The bus was full and we were taken on a private tour in a smaller van. The drive to Lake District was worth it for the views.
