Fun way to see the hi points of San Antonio
This was a well thought out and designed scavenger hunt. We had a group of 6 of us that were visiting for the weekend. You get to see the major sites, and really go at your own pace. The puzzles that were there to solve were a lot of fun, and game worked perfect on the iPhone. Great value. We would do this again in another city in a heartbeat. I would highly recommend this for a anyone visiting the city that had some free time to explore.
The experience itself was interesting and fun. The site used for directing the quest was embarrassingly out of date. Note that the Get Your Guide app is used only for selling access, not for directing the tour. I'd consider using the GYG app in the future, but only if it connects to an actual modern app.
We had the best time! My friend & I found this scavenger hunt to be fun, interesting, challenging. I had been to San Antonio many times previous, but saw this fun city in a whole new way & learned many new things. We will do scavenger hunts in other cities with this app whenever they’re available!
We learned so much about Texas and the Missions that is not part of the usual events described in history books. Being present at these sites helped to me touch and feel the environment American Indians lived in which is a contextual reference I could not experience in any other way.
Highly recommend. Did with two teenagers and they loved it. Not a deep dive into all the history that San Antonio has to offer but a fun and interesting way to see downtown and just some of what it has to offer. Reasonably priced as well.
