Explore the zoo's grounds, spanning 50,000 acres, and see some of the more than 8,500 animals that call this zoo home. Take time to see the flock of Caribbean flamingos or watch as red-ruffed and black and white lemurs jump and play at Pride Place. Say hello to hyenas and bears in The Grotto, or visit the Asian Forest, home to the Komodo dragon and cute Asian small-clawed otters. The Cat Grotto is home to small cats like the caracal, clouded leopard, and black-footed cat. Walk through this majestic area as water flows over the rocks. Visit the Friedrich Aquarium, home to fresh and saltwater animals, and head to the Reptile House to see a wide array of reptiles from all over the world, from snakes to turtles to lizards.
