Full description

Start the first section of the tour in the Quetrihue Peninsula where you will visit the Arrayanes Forst.  After a quick walk, arrive at Bosque de Arrayanes where you will stay for 45 minutes and cross the forest on a path that is 2625 feet (800m) long.

This part of the trip culminates in the mythical cabin that functions as a tea house. From there, boardoard the catamaran and resume your tour as you head to Bahía Anchorena. After several minutes of navigation, the catamaran will arrive at Puerto Anchorena. Once off the boat, begin your tour of the island.

Among the possible activities, you can take the historical route, which is a 1-hour walk where you will have access to information related to the history of the island and its flora and fauna. The other option is to trek to Piedras Blancas on a 5-mile (8km) route.

You can also visit Toro Beach, where you can see cave paintings, or the recreation area where you can take a break and even eat lunch. It should be noted that the island has a confectionery stand, where passengers have the opportunity to have lunch or a snack.

The boat ride was nice because we paid the extra to be in the preferred group. We had access to the cabin on the top of the boat with less than a dozen others so we were able t enjoy the scenery without much obstruction from all the other passengers. Once arriving at Isla Victoria, there was not really a lot to do or see. We had a 4-hour stay on the Isla with nothing much to keep us occupied for that time. The views and the photos I took were very beautiful.

It was missing to be informed that the port where the catamaran leaves for the tour is 28 km from Bariloche. This means that it is mandatory to hire transport to and from the port. This is not clear when contracting the service. This route adds a value that must be paid. I could not get it from the contracted supplier, who was not at the store during the period he was supposed to be there (store opening hours). I had to get a remises, with a much higher cost.

Great tour, perfect timing to all the stops, Raul our guide was absolutely incredible and really made the whole day as informative as it was special. Plenty of food on the boat in between stops. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a day trip out on the water when visiting Bariloche.
