It seems to me an essential tour if you are traveling through the San Cristóbal area. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know a bit of the local indigenous culture. The tour itinerary is very well designed. It is very dynamic and fun. If you are also lucky enough to have Alonso as your guide, the experience will undoubtedly be unforgettable. It was 10.

We were very satisfied with this trip. The tour guide had a lot of relevant knowledge and was very aware of all local developments. The two villages were impressive to behold; certainly what happened in the churches. The visit to the weaving mill in between was very nicely dressed by the family who worked there

As with other tours that I've taken this week in Chiapas, this tour is touted as being in English. This was a bilingual tour, with 4 participants there ofr the English guide. The guide would always address the dozen Spanish speakers first, speaking at length (5+ minutes) and then dismiss them. Turning to the four of us, we would hear perhaps as much as 90 seconds of material. When discussing it with them afterwards, we all expressed that we felt shortchanged. Be that as it may, this is a most intereesting tour as far as the places visited. Close enough to San Cristobal to not fatigue due to transportation, and enough time at both venies to explore.
