Be picked up by your guide at your hotel lobby. We will begin our tour with a panoramic tour across the beautiful Cartagena Bay, often referred to as the "Jewel of the Caribbean". After this, we’ll do a panoramic tour at the Manga Island. Further on, we’ll visit the San Felipe de Barajas Castle (Castillo San Felipe de Barajas), the largest military structure built in America Colony Time by Spain in the Americas, which took 36 years to be completed, and covers almost the entire Cerro de San Lázaro from whose summit we can appreciate another perspective of the marine landscape. Upon descending there is a brief stop for photos of the Los Zapatos Viejos (“Old Shoes”) bronze statue, an emblem of the city. We continue on to the colonial center passing by the India Catalina monument and the Clock Tower, icons of the city from which taking a pleasant walk through the interior of the historical center and its walled area “Las Bovedas”, Santo Domingo streets and squares, visiting: the Plaza de la Aduana (“Customs Park”), Plaza de Los Coches (“Park of Cars”), San Pedro Claver Church, as well as various ramparts and colonial buildings. We finish the tour at the Las Bóvedas artisanal market. Return to your hotel in our comfortable vehicle, or if you prefer, stay around the walled sector to enjoy the various cafés, bars, and restaurants. Our guide was Nelson and he was excellent. His 30 years of experience showed. He knows everyone and is very knowledgeable about Cartagena. We had an individual guided tour. Much better than big bus cruise excursions.

Nice to be outside on a bike and learn some history. We stopped frequently in the shade. The bike riding is enjoyable even on the crowded street. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable.
