The electric bikes have a range of 16-20 miles on a full charge and feature a full-comfort seat, hand shifters, and brakes. Bike through Golden Gate Park and along the coast, through the Headlands, into Muir Woods, or to Mt. Tam. Take a ride across the Golden Gate Bridge into Sausalito. Ebikes are the only way to go in SF , esp if you ride over the bridge to Saucalito. The hills are brutal otherwise. It’s great you can put the bikes on the ferry back. Lots of bike tracks which is good. The locals are pretty serious risers. Make sure you stay on the right hand side - or you will incur their wrath!

Our tour guide was great! He was funny, knowledgeable, and patient! The first spot was a bit of a challenge but I am out shape. He took some great pictures for us. The second site, was a hike and I decided not to pursue, however the views the experience and the tour guide made it all worth it! I would highly recommend!!

All good!

After about 2km we had chain damage on an e-bike. Unfortunately we did not make any further calls by phone, but I returned to the rental station with the error-free bike and it was immediately helped and we were able to get a replacement bike at the next station about 300m away. A trip over the bridge is highly recommended. We are back to Sausalito and by ferry (we bought the tickets in advance at the rental station). All in all, everything was good, at first very annoying with the damage to the bike, but it was also easy and uncomplicated to help. In general, I would always recommend a printed voucher for the smartphone ticket, as some of them cannot do much with it and so they have something in their hand
