I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Being a solo traveler, I was able to see much of San Francisco in one shot. The driver (forgot his name) was funny and attentive. I adored him. The tour is narrated via earbuds & pre-recorded audio. I made the mistake of sitting upstairs. I had no idea we were going across the Bay Bridge. Quite scary being so close to the ceiling of the bottom level with no bus ceiling for cover. Also, going down those hills while sitting on the top level is roller coaster-ish. I hate roller coasters. I don't know what I was thinking. Still, although I scared myself a few times, I would totally do this trip again, from inside on the 1st level. It's COLD up top, especially across the bridge and this was July 25, 2021. Wear sunglasses if sitting up top & a hoodie you can tighten.

This is a wonderful and easy way to get a taste of San Francisco-it’s history, the people, the streets, and glorious views! Using the earphones as a type of self guided trip as we were driven through the city and different places of interest was an excellent way of showing us tourists what this area had been and is. We can highly recommend this venue as one of the first ways to tour. Be sure and layer well as it can get cold at night on top of an open air bus, bring a blanket, and be sure and leave a gratuity to the driver who deftly steers through the different and very interesting locations.

Il tour serale ci è piaciuto davvero molto. San Francisco vista da Treasure Island lascia senza fiato. Il personale del Big Bus è stato molto cordiale e socievole. Consigliamo assolutamente questa esperienza suggerendo di coprirsi bene perché, oltre a fare piuttosto freddo, l’attraversamento del Golden Bridge è molto ventoso.
