Fairly strenuous tour with rock climbing, slippery trails but super fun - water slide, cliff jumping (3 feet, 5 feet, 10 feet, 15 feet) and swinging off a rope. Enjoyed it very much! Kayaking started in the dusk and return was in the darkness. Return was a bit tough because it was harder to see as well

I went with my 7-year old daughter and she was able to do everything the other adults did. For the El Yunque portion, our guides Jason and Luis were super accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. I really liked safety precautions on the El Yunque hike such that everyone was required to wear a helmet and a life vest. For water activities in the El Yunque forest, our tour group also provided an additional lifeguard, which I didn't see available for other groups that we came across. The Bio bay portion was good, but because it was a clear day, the moonlight made it hard to see the planktons. We only ended up seeing a few "sparkles". The kayaking was pretty doable by myself with some help from my daughter for the most part, but it was hard the last few minutes paddling in the ocean in the dark with fairly steady wind at the end of a long day.

The hiking trip to the waterfall/river was so much fun and the tour guides were awesome. Very involved and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Breathtaking views and the water felt amazing cause it was so hot!! Bio Bay Kayaking was an absolute waste of time and money. For starters, the water smelled like we were kayaking in a cess pool. The water was black and smelled like rotten eggs. Didn't seem very sanitary or safe for anyone to be in. Then we were lined up in our kayaks and covered with a tarp full of sand in order to see the plankton light up (which they didn't) they clearly stated this wasn't guaranteed but according to other reviews it seems like it doesn't happen any time of the year. So we literally just got covered in sand from head to toe for no reason. I really do not recommend this activity to anyone.
