If you want to find out but don’t feel quite ready to take the leap to certification, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try diving to see if you like it Although not a certification, the Discover Scuba Diving course will teach you how to use shallow water diving equipment and get a quick, easy and safe introduction into the underwater world. There is nothing quite like breathing underwater for the first time and admiring the fish and this world of silence. It takes a little time to get used to it, after all, human beings were not designed for it – but after a few minutes, most participants realize that diving is really easy. The biggest challenge for the instructors is not getting people into the water, but getting them out after the dives are over because they loved it so much! You will learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a Padi professional. You’ll learn how to breathe, see and move underwater and discover if you like it or not. Pre requisites: - Be at least 10 years old - Fill up our Padi Medical Questionnaire. This form is to find out if you should be examined by your doctor before participating in recreational diver training. Let's Go Dive in Cozumel's world famous marine park. The trip begins at Marina Fonatur where you will board our boat and its only 10 minutes to the best dive sites in Cozumel. With our guide you can choose the dive sites based on what you will want to see and conditions each day. Lunch and snacks will be served in the interval between the first and second dive. The total trip time is approximately 4 hours.

Barracuda, Cantarell and San Juan reefs lie on the north side of the island. This dive site is very rarely visited due to rough conditions, even in good weather. The current runs 2 to 10 knots and down currents are not uncommon. This dive is NOT for the inexperienced diver. However, for the truly adventurous and experienced diver, it is a rewarding challenge though and you will often find large schools of fish, especially jacks, as well as turtles, dolphins and even hammerhead sharks. The reef is in pristine condition, due to infrequent visits from divers. You will find vast mountainous coral heads and peaks that slop into the abyss.

Become a certified PADI diver and go up to 18m with the Padi Open Water course. The PADI Open Water Diver course is a complete, carefully structured entry level scuba diving course designed to take you from a non-diver with little or no prior experience to a certified diver. The certification is recognized worldwide and is valid for life, to a maximum depth of 18 meters / 60 feet. The fun part about this course is . . . well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible. During the course, you’ll make at least 5 confined water dives and four dives on the reef of Cozumel under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
