The guide picked me up and then we left. First I saw the city from the outside and then we drove to the old town. There was a festival in town which was lucky for me. I saw local dances, heard local music and more. The guide was welcoming and informative.

The tour was fantastic! Roberto was friendly and knowledgable. He truly has a passion for his country and it came across in the way he shared about the sites, the history, and the people. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to understand some of the history of San Salvador!

A friendly, knowledgeable guide who provided a great service.

This was a half-day private tour of the city. Irving was great. He picked me up at the hotel promptly. I felt at ease with him right away. We saw the "must-see" sites in San Salvador and he had a lot to say about each. We had interesting and fun conversations between site visits. Some of it related to the tour, some of it was just about life. It was all good. We skipped a few things, like a shopping area, partly because I wasn't really interested, and partly because I wasn't feeling very well. I was having a typical case of traveler's upset. I was well enough to go on the tour but I was glad that I booked it as a private tour so that when I was getting tired, we cut it a little short. In other words, I paid a premium for a private tour and it was worth every penny, both because of the quality of our interactions and the flexibility that I needed that day.
