What people are saying about Santiago de Compostela
Lovely, relaxed day with a wonderful guide and a well planned tour
Best way to see the iconic Coast of Death (Finisterra, Ezaro, Muxia, Mores, Ponte Maceiro) when you just have a day in hand. While Daniel skilfully drove us through the narrow lanes, our guide Sonia gave us a brief history of everything and made the journey extremely informative and enjoyable. Even though it was a full day excursion, we did not feel tired as the stops were planned well with enough time to see the various places and rest if one wanted. Daniel and Sonia took care of of the passengers comfort in all aspects. Highly recommend this tour.
We covered a lot of ground. Our tour guide was very good, the bus was comfortable., the only downside was that Muxta was fogged in, but then that made for some interesting lighting effects if you're a photographer. Ezara Falls was less than exciting due to the adjoining power plant and resultant inability to get close, but nevertheless worthwhile. Ponte Maceira was better than anticipated and the bus driver proved his skill crossing the narrow bridge in the face of a stalled vehicle. Fog or no, good trip, recommended.
This tour allows one to experience some of the natural beauty of Galicia. Muxia and Fisterra both offer lovely views of the sea. Riding through the countryside we learned about the crops that are grown and saw the structures families use to store food for the winter. We learned a bit about living in Galicia and had time in the fishing village of Muros. This trip is a great introduction to Galicia and the wider world beyond Santiago de Compostela.
A very enjoyable day. Our guide, Anna was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting information in both English and Spanish. The stops were all of a good length to allow us to explore at our leisure. Fernando the bus driver was also excellent - especially skilled at driving the bus through narrow streets. The only criticism we have is that the stop for lunch was rather late - about 2.30pm.
Great tour, good guide, timing just right and on schedule all day! The weather (misty, chilly and overcast/rainy in Finisterre) was unfortunate at times, but typical for late September, no fault of the tour management.
