Full description

Embark on a private tour of Santorini, perfect for cruise ship passengers or travelers who prefer shorter tours. Be driven around the narrow streets of the island as you learn about its history and culture. Explore the traditional village of Oia and visit the iconic blue-domed church in Firostefani.

After disembarking from your cruise, meet up with your driver at the exit of the cable car and start your tour. Visit Oia Village, the traditional settlement located on the northern tip of the island built high on the cliff-top. Stroll through a maze of small shops, restaurants and cafes, white washed houses carved into the cliff side, blue domed churches and marble-stone alleys sparkling in the sunlight, with spectacular views of the rest of the island and the caldera. On your way to or from Oia, make a short stop for a unique photographic moment at Firostefani’s famous blue dome church. From there you can admire the white-washed houses extending along the reddish cliff as they hang over the deep blue sea of the Aegean. Extend this tour with a visit to a renown winery on the cliffside, or a local winery of your choice!

Our driver was not only thoroughly knowledgeable about the island specifically, but also gave us some wonderful tidbits about Greek culture at large. We learned so much about Greek cultural norms as well as the history of the beautiful Santorini island. He was also so accommodating. He offered to pick us up from directly from the airport so as to save us the taxi money. He let us tailor the tour exactly to what we were looking to do and we covered a lot in the 3.5 hours we had. He even took us to his favorite local lunch spot and we picked up some delicious gyros for the road. He's incredibly nice and down to earth and we were so happy we went with this tour during our short stay in Santorini. Highly, highly recommended.

We were able to spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each stop. The guide took the time to ask what we liked to do and tailored the tour to our wants. Santorini is beautiful and we had many opportunities to take photographs. The Wine Museum was informative and the tasting afterwards was rewarding. We got great value for money.
