    With this hiking tour, you get to walk along the rim of the beautiful caldera of Santorini and through the villages of Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, and Oia with plenty of chances to take photos of the breathtaking views.

    Along the way, pass through beautiful villages with distinctive white-washed houses, stop at panoramic viewpoints and pass by beautiful churches. On the way from Fira, you hike over the caldera and pass in front of Skaros, a separate rock, where the first fortress was built on the island.

    Pass by the Firostefani monastery and Imerovigli. Pass by the Prophet Elias chapels, where your group stops for a rest and enjoys a delicious picnic lunch featuring fresh fruit, a sesame bar, and a fresh smoothie.

    The terrain of the path varies: Some parts are paved sidewalks, some parts are cobblestone, and other parts follow just a dirt track. The hike takes around 3 hours depending on the walking pace and how many breaks you have.

    Highly recommend this fantastic hike to Oia! Our guides were really knowledgeable and fun to be with. Lovely stop halfway for greek salad and pita and dips kept us going for remainder of hike. Sunset was a stunning end to such a beautiful way to enjoy Santorini. Thank you Eva!

    This was one of the best activities I booked. My 11 year old son and I enjoyed it so much. The hike was pretty easy. We have never done any sort of hike before. There were steps and some parts were harder to walk but overall easy. If an 11 year old can do it, you can too. We stopped a lot for pics and the sunset which made it all worth it. Yes I agree with others that it’s pricey and you can walk the trail on your own for free but I still think it was worth it because we felt more confident and comfortable with someone who knows the way and we can just relax and enjoy the view and not worry about where we’re going. Our guides were amazing and we enjoyed their company.

    Very picturesque route. Guide was knowledgeable and helpful with lots of local information. The hike was pretty steep than expected at some points and fairly slippery at some points on the way down. We are active seniors and managed the hike but I would caution others in the 70+ age group to use caution in going up as well as getting down high elevations. Good experience overall.
