Alan was a great guide he got us there and back safely, was friendly, full of interesting information and also helped us communicate with the people in lukomir. the walk itself was fantastic, gorgeous views, not too difficult despite the uneven terrain. the village itself is lovely and we had a delicious meal in one of the local restaurants with fresh local produce. overall I'd recommend this tour to anyone who likes hiking, gorgeous views, quaint villages, and tasty food.

Beautiful scenic hiking trip. The trip is long (approx 7 hrs hiking), however, it is not too steep. OK for people with fear of heights. Lukomir is a dirty little village with A LOT OF CARBAGE around the streets. Allthough it is located in a beautiful scenic setting, the village itself was NOT at all charming. The guide was not good, didnt appeared open to people and was not informative at all. He brought us from A to B and that was all about it… The tour is only recommended due to the sceneries on the hike

Die Fahrt von Sarajevo nach Lukomir ist nicht besonders lang, wobei mein Guide auf Wunsch immer wieder pausen machte damit ich Fotos der Landschaft machen konnte. Lukomir selbst ist interesssant; schöne alte Häuser; kaltes, klares Wasser von der Quelle im Dorf; die Aussicht auf die Berge... ich war Ende Oktober dort (am Ende der Saison) und es waren von 5 weitere Touristen außer mir im Dorf.
